Asst Category Manager (North America Business) – CaratLane
Have a thorough understanding of the industry, category, brand & retail objectives, online & offline competition, trends/events, competition with a strong understanding of growth levers
Stay on top of changing trends and strategic priorities through in-depth data analysis to predict customer behaviour and take actions on category gaps
Conduct analysis of business opportunities to meet P&L goals, drive necessary promotions, campaigns basis insights, marketing plans etc.
Responsible for driving the right selection width and depth for those categories.
Responsible for the Pricing Strategy
Responsible for revenue targets as well as gross margins
Interact and coordinate with marketing, supply chain, cataloguing, finance, commercial and other functions of the organisation
Work on relevant assortment planning, enable its discovery and ensure conversion. Drive visibility plans, promotion plans, and coordinate between the internal marketing teams
Build fulfilment and inventory replenishment strategy across cross border centres within planned budgets
Strong focus on customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver a customer experience that is unparalleled
This role will be a people manager role – leading a team of 2-3 people
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3+ years of experience in relevant field
Strong analytical aptitude in problem-solving
Ability to multitask, think critically and execute tactically
Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential
Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
Extreme attention to detail
Able to develop strategy and drive execution in a high operational environment
