Senior Manager – Total Rewards

Role Purpose:
This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization attracts, retains, and motivates the best talent while ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations. As a leading jewellery company, we recognize the importance of offering competitive compensation and benefits to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Total Rewards Strategy: Craft a total rewards strategy that supports the company's vision and values, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
Compensation Program Design: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation programs that align with the organization's business goals. This includes salary structures, sales incentives, performance bonuses, and long term incentives.
Benefits Administration: Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, to ensure they are competitive and meet employee needs.
Executive Compensation: Create and manage executive compensation packages to attract and retain top-tier leadership talent.
Performance Management: Collaborate with the L&OD team and the People Business Partners to design and manage performance appraisals and incentive programs that motivate employees to excel.
Statutory Compliance: Stay up to date with labour laws and regulations, ensuring that the company's people policies and practices are in compliance with local and national laws. Prepare for and participate in audits and statutory inspections. Prepare reports for management, executives, and regulatory bodies to demonstrate the company's adherence to statutory requirements.
People Operations: Oversee People Operations including payroll, compliances and employee records management. Create a culture in the team to ensure employee touch points are managed with empathy, agility and a solution mindset.
Budget Management & Analysis: Develop and manage the employee cost budget for the organisation, ensuring that compensation and benefits programs are cost-effective and within budget. Utilize data analytics and market benchmarking to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Change Management: Drive the implementation of any changes in compensation or benefits programs and ensure effective communication to employees. Collaborate with the People Business Partnering team to address employee concerns and grievances related to compensation and benefits
Employee Relations: Be the custodian of discipline and ensure the people business partnering team is equipped with the right tools to enforce discipline where necessary.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in total rewards and compensation, with a track record of designing and managing successful programs.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and statutory compliance in India.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Certification in Compensation and Benefits or related HR disciplines is a plus.
