Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze sales data, marketing data and Inventory data to either identify opportunities for category growth or inefficiencies which need to be controlled.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on category performance and key metrics.
Develop and maintain dashboards to track category performance.
Category Strategy:
Assist the Category manager in the development and implementation of category plans and strategies.
Support category reviews and planning sessions with data-driven insights.
Collaborate with the Category Manager to improve catalogue performance, optimize inventory & marketing spends, create promotional plans.
Collaboration
Work closely with the merchandising team to align on progress of New Product Introduction
Work closely with the Supply Chain team to raise timely Pos and track Inventory inwards.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between marketing actions & inventory actions.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
Develop best practices for data analysis and category management.
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software: Excel is a must, Power BI, Tableau will be advantageous.
Familiarity with basic Category Management concepts
Good communication Skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
